The injury bug caught up to our top two teams, today we say goodbye to An American Tailback and Marion Cobra Cobretti.
An American Tailback
After a season where you spent 3 weeks on the top of the Commissioners Power Rankings and an additional week sharing the spot with your fellow departed, we say goodbye to you for the season but hopefully not for alltime, I do hope you reconsider your resignation. In the end it was your distrust in the greatest NFL team, The Los Angeles Chargers, that proved to lead you to your demise. In the regular season your reign at the top of the Commissioner’s Power Rankings was only shorter than the venomous Cobra himself. In the regular season the Kekambas managed to find you on your lowest scoring week, in the playoffs they caught you on your second lowest scoring week. That story is getting old and so are we as we welcome league newcomer, and first year face shaver, Njigbas in Paris to the final dance after his defeat of…
Marion Cobra Cobretti
Yes the odds of winning with your star QB seeing tweety birds and stars above his head in the first quarter of the game were astronomical. That being said, Njigba came to play. 4 points from Hurts, well, hurts. But if you add the difference of his season high of 38, those additional 34 points were still 9 points shy of finding your way into the ‘ship. The boy balled. Brother, so did you, in the 14 weeks of regular season, you sat atop The Commissioners Power Rankings a league high 7 times and, as previously stated, shared an additional week tied with Tailback. That reign also earned you the top seed in the playoffs as well as the best record purse of $50.00. You were our first official prize winner of the season but unfortunately you will not be the last. Your personality in the league chat was worthy of a prize itself and I can’t wait until next season to see what you have to say and who you have to trade!
Love to both our semifinal short comers.

The ‘ship has set sail with our last two teams as passengers. Njigba’s in Paris will face the Kekambas with the winner to receive our top prize of 400.00 USD and runner up a respectable 215.80 CAD, I have a lot of Canadian money I need to get rid of after selling some Vancouver Taylor Swift tickets, you’ll be able to convert that to 150.00 USD when it’s all said and done. Who will it be? Well let’s state some much hated facts. Fact, if they had faced off in the Quarterfinal, Kekambas would have won the matchup. That being said, another fact, if they had faced off in the semifinals Njigbas would have done the same to you… As a matter of fact, only the team you faced, Cobra minus 3+ quarters of Quarterback and tightendless and obvious roster neglector Cuchillos would have fallen to you, there was no reason for most of us to set a roster so take that into account as well. So what does that mean? It means that after what we saw this past week, anything could happen. I certainly am not cutting these checks until the final minute has been played on Monday night. Early projections show a slight preference to the Kekambas but I can’t be sure if these rosters are set in stone. Also as of now, the only team with a Monday night player is Kekambas with kicker Jake Moody. Will we see a Njigba’s lead going into Monday night slowly slip away one kick at a time? Or will we see Kekambas favorite NFL team let him down for $400 bucks just like they did me on my Parlay a few weeks back? Njigbas asked what happens if there is a tie, I just looked it up, highest seed wins in that case and in this case it’s Kekambas. But it won’t be that close right? What was the score of your regular season matchup…. What? 127.5 to 126.5 with a slight edge to Njigbas?!?!?!? Shit maybe it can happen? This is going to be good. Good luck to you both. You’re playing with men now!
